Cozy Home Sleeps 10 Lombard Chicago Suburb

I booked this home for my family seeing we had a couple events to attend in Lombard. I must say we enjoyed our stay overall. The house is very welcoming, cozy and comfortable. The backyard was cute. I loved the basement. It's great for someone who prefers a little more privacy. There is a restroom, sofa bed and a VERY cute office area. I also loved the family board games available. I normally appreciate the self check in but unfortunately the self check in was a bit of an issue for us. We were 30 mins late for our show because we couldn't get into the house. We continued to experience problems to the point of the host having to contact the security company. The host was apologetic and I hope they were able to figure it out once we checked out. The lock was a huge inconvenience for us, it became so complicated that we had to make sure we left one person in the house at all times to prevent being locked out. The host did sincerely apologize and try to help. I understand these things can happen. I would recommend switching the security company if it continues to be an issue. I would also recommended better bedding and a more detailed cleaning company. Other that the house is a good choice.

We lived in the general area for 9 years and wanted to be close by, so this home was the perfect location. From booking thru check-out, the process was super easy and communication was always immediate/great with follow-up. House is very well equipped and was spotless upon our arrival. Incredible accommodations! We will be sure to look for availability here first on our next visit back to Chicago.

1st off the home is really well maintained and cozy. We stayed with our two under two and a small dog and he loved having a fenced in yard. The kids did, too. They enjoyed playing outside every day. We don't have a fenced in yard, so that was amazing. The layout was good and both my husband and I were able to work from the house, no problem. The feedback I have: This property should be listed as 2 bedrooms, not three. Unless you're going to put a bed in the basement. Right now it's a pullout couch. So it's a bit of a stretch listing this as a 3 bedroom. Especially when we were in search of a 3 bedroom. Not a fan of bait & switch. But ultimately we ended up sharing rooms. Id also have a book or online guide for everything welcoming guests for their stay listing things like, "interested in additional towels? You can find them in the stairs by the basement!" or "Want to have a fire outside? Here's how to work it and you can find the lighter here!" The property manager was very responsive, but this would allow them to have FAQs already there. Also, when entering the property, it would be good to know that you need to press the one button before entering your code, etc. Anyway, it's the small things that go a long way. All in all, this place is a great and clean! Quick to highway to city or right down the street from 2 lovely malls and shopping. The street is very quiet. This is not a party area if that's what you're in search of lol. Which to me was AMAZING!. Thanks again.
